的re are several endowments, fellowships and awards that support our department and 学生:

• E&ES一般校友基金:  E&ES General Fund is used for a variety of activities that the department could 不支持其他方式. For example, the General Fund has been used to support student travel to various meetings and field trips (i.e. NMGS现场会议，GSA年度 Meeting), annual department social events, and purchasing student field/lab supplies. • Anton and Anita Budding 研究生研究 Award:  的 Anton and Anita Budding 研究生研究 Award is used by E&ES研究生 for: (a) carrying out field investigations in geology, geochemistry, geophysics, or hydrology; (b) traveling to scientific meetings or to scientific centers for use of equipment not available at ag亚游集团App下载; (c) acquisition or fabrication of special equipment or reference material unavailable at Tech; (d) hourly charges for the use 技术学院提供的设备. 的 award is not used for tuition and fees or room 和在Tech的食宿.

• Jerrald & Cynthia Durtsch捐赠奖学金:  的Jerrald & Cynthia Durtsch Endowed Scholarship is used to provide a student majoring in 地球与环境科学, usually in the field of geology or geophysics, financial assistance to help offset the cost of books and/or lab/field trip expenses. Jerrald Durtsch graduated from NMT with a Ph.D. 1973年获地球科学(地球物理学)学士学位. Typically, awards of $500 are given to one graduate student and one undergraduate 学生每年.
